BUILD-UP TIMES
When can I set up my stand?
Machine Technology Exhibitors only: Friday 30th April– Monday 3rd May 8am – 6pm
All other Exhibitors:
Sunday 2nd May - 8am - 6pm
Monday 3rd May - 8am - 6pm
What if I need a forklift?
For all machinery requiring a forklift with a capacity of over 2.5 tonnes please contact Adrian McDonald from Machinery Specialists ( 09 299 2003
) to arrange a time prior to show build-up. Bookings can be made at the information desk during build-up for forklifts up to 2.5 tonnes.
BREAKDOWN TIMES
When Can I start breaking down?
Break-down will commence at 5.15pm on Thursday 6th May once the show has been officially closed and all the visitors have been removed.
What are the breakdown times?
Everything must be removed by 6.30pm, Friday 7 May

EFTPOS / INTERNET OR PHONE LINES?
How can I get eftpos on my stand?
Eftpos is available from Eftpos Technologies Lines must be ordered prior to the event.
How can I get a phone or internet line on my stand?
Phone Lines need to be arranged by Telecom. Just dial 126 and ask for a temporary phone line. Give them the venue address, your stand number and a contact number. Phone & Internet lines must be organized at least one week prior to the show. Connection Order Form

Is there free internet access available at the show?
Unfortunately there is no free internet access available at the venue. You will need to either organize a dial-up or jetstream line from Telecom or you can purchase wireless connection from ASB Showgrounds. EXHIBITOR BADGES
How do I organize name badges for the staff working on my stand?
You will need to enter the names of all of your staff working at the show online at www.emex.co.nz/badges prior to the deadline 31st March.
Will they be sent out prior to the show?
No. All badges will be available for collection from the information desk at the showgrounds from Sunday 2nd May.

How do I organise compressed air for my stand?
If you require compressed air, it must be pre-ordered.

PANELS, CARPET, POWER & LIGHTING
Where can I order extra Lighting Power?
This can be ordered through Show Light & Power. Please make sure that you pre order your requirements. Please note that you will be charged directly from Show Light and Power for any additional items.

Can I get an extra light or powerpoint at the show?
Show Light and Power will be available during build up of the show. Make sure you get your additional requirements during build up.
Where can I get extra panels or carpet?
Extra panels and carpet are available from Exhibition Hire Services but items may not be available unless pre ordered.

Can I change the colour or my panels or carpet?
Yes you can but there is a small fee for this service. You will need to complete either the Panel or Carpet change out form and send to Exhibition Hire Services. Please note that changes may not be available at the show unless previously ordered.

What is the thickness of the panels?
The panels are 4.4cm thick.
Can I nail or screw items to the panels?
Definitely not. Please do not screw or nail any items to the panels. This would be considered damage and you would be charged for any damage to the panels. Art hooks and Velcro for attaching signage etc to your stand can be purchased from Exhibition Hire Services during build up. Please go to their desk located in the Main Foyer.
Can I cut the carpet?
No – absolutely not. You would be charged the cost of a new carpet tile if the carpet is damaged. If you would like your carpet tiles removed please contact Nick Batty on 64 9 976 8302 .

What time can I get in to prepare my stand each day?
Access with security passes is permitted 1 hour prior to show opening. Exhibitors will be required to vacate the pavilions 5 minutes after the close of each show day.

Where can I park during Build Up?
Enter through Gate B of the Venue. You do not need a car park pass to park in the venue during build up days.

Do I need a Car Park Pass to park during show days?
Parking for exhibitors during show days will be at the top of Arena Carpark (entrance through Gate B). You will need your Exhibitor Badge to gain free entry to the car park. Please note that this is on a first come first served basis. Your Exhibitor Badges are available for you to COLLECT during the Build Up days from the Exhibitor Information Desk in the main Foyer.
Alternatively, Alexandra Car Park is available to all our exhibitors & visitors. Please note that Alexandra Car Park is run independently and therefore a $6 charge applies. Also Wilson Parking across the road from the showgrounds is available on the weekends, a $5 charge applies.
Where can I store empty boxes or other items?
We have limited storage facilities onsite. Please enquire at Show Information for locations.
