RAM3D is the largest 3D metal printing service in Australasia.

Specialists in additive manufacturing, we focus on selective laser melting (SLM) in titanium, stainless steel and inconel metal alloys – offering one of the very few commercial SLM facilities in the Southern Hemisphere. 

We currently print in the following metals:

• Titanium 64 (Ti 6AI 4V) - the most common titanium alloy used for medical and aerospace applications.
• 15-5-PH Stainless Steel - a high strength stainless steel also used in aerospace but also in food manufacturing and other industries.
• Stainless Steel 316 - more corrosion resistant so it is used in the marine and diary/food industries.
• Inconel 718 - a nickel super alloy used for high temperature applications in the defence, geo-thermal, automotive and aerospace industries.

It is important to us to collaborate with our clients to improve the design of production parts and prototypes, making these parts in a more efficient and cost-effective way.

We work with companies on a global scale, from the UK and US to Australia and are proud that our products are used around the world.

The diversity of the parts RAM3D manufacture, range from inconel suppressors for the defence sector, parts for drones and aerospace to customised handlebar extensions for the New Zealand Olympics cycling team as well as classic car exhaust systems.
